The Most Public Meltdowns In Hollywood

The Most Public Meltdowns In Hollywood

Being an A-lister can put pressure on even
the smoothest stars, and when media darlings lose their cool, those moments are sometimes
broadcast for the world to see. From Reese Witherspoon to Alec Baldwin, the
following celebs had very public meltdowns. Britney Spears One of the most shocking meltdowns in celeb
history is surely Britney Spears and her very public head-shaving incident in 2007. On that fateful day, the pop princess showed
up to a salon that was closed, but the owner opened the shop for the celebrity walk-in. When Spears asked to have her head shaved,
the owner refused. So Spears asked if she could do it herself,
and the salon provided her with the tools to do so. The owner eventually helped out to even out
the singer’s scalp. Spears reportedly didn’t say much except, “Mom’s gonna kill me.” After leaving the salon, she then reportedly
headed to a tattoo parlor. While many felt the incident seemed like a
cry for help, Spears herself didn’t see it that way. A year later, in the MTV documentary Britney:
For the Record, the pop star explained that she was going through, quote, “so much artificial
stuff” with her kids and her then-husband Kevin Federline. She also said, “People thought that it was me going crazy
and stuff like that, but people shave their heads all the time.” Christian Bale Christian Bale has a bit of a tempestuous
reputation, and that was never clearer than during an incident on the set of 2009’s Terminator
Salvation. As reported by TMZ, the American Psycho actor
had his own Patrick Bateman-style outburst when the director of cinematography accidentally
stepped into a shot. The whole incident was caught on audiotape,
and Bale’s profanity-laden tirade quickly went viral. After the tape was released, Bale tucked his
tail between his legs and issued an apology on Los Angeles radio station KROQ. “I acted like a punk. I regret that, and there is nobody that has
heard that tape that is hit harder by it than me.” Charlie Sheen Charlie Sheen experienced a painful-to-watch
meltdown in March 2011 that seemed to be a product of his surroundings and part of a
worrisome downward spiral. At the time he was one of the stars of the
CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men and the highest-paid actor on American television. But then he suddenly got fired from his job. Audiences didn’t know at the time that he
was fired due to a life-threatening drug addiction. What the public did see, however, was Sheen
posting a Ustream video of himself babbling incoherently. From his frenzied demeanor to his jibber-jabber
about phones being built by trolls, it was clear that something was severely wrong. Then in 2015, fans learned that Sheen is HIV
positive, something he found out around the time of his 2011 meltdown. “I thought I had a brain tumor. I thought it was over. It’s a hard three letters to absorb.” Sheen has since openly discussed his diagnosis
and reflected on his bizarre low points. “It’s fun to kind of watch sometimes, but
also just a little bit cringeable. It’s like, ‘Dude, what the hell was that?'” Alec Baldwin Alec Baldwin frequently makes headlines for
his outbursts, like the time he got booted off a plane for playing Words With Friends
on his phone. “It was very important for me to come here
tonight, and, on behalf of everyone on American Airlines, issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin.” When he’s not berating the friendly skies,
he apparently enjoys causing chaos on his home turf in New York City. In 2017, a witness told Page Six that he spotted
Baldwin in a verbal exchange with the driver of an SUV. Baldwin reportedly called the driver a “meatball”
and repeatedly asked him and the passenger to get out of the vehicle. When his targets declined, Baldwin began recording
the scene on his phone, took a picture of the license plate, and threw his extra-large
drink in the street. Perhaps Baldwin is not a fan of the neighborhood,
considering he was arrested in the same area three years prior for biking the wrong way
down Fifth Avenue and screaming at the police. Perhaps he actually prefers exchanging words
with enemies instead of playing Words With Friends. Reese Witherspoon Reese Witherspoon once enjoyed a squeaky-clean
reputation similar to the roles she’s played on the silver screen. But as one 2013 incident proved, even the
sweetest Southern belle can occasionally unleash a nasty temper tantrum. The actress and her husband, talent agent
Jim Toth, were driving in Atlanta when they were pulled over. Toth had to perform a sobriety test, and that
didn’t sit well with his wife. She got out of the car and became progressively
more unruly, barking things such as, “Do you know my name?” and “You’re about to
find out who I am.” The icing on the cake was that Witherspoon’s
meltdown was recorded on the police officer’s dash cam and released to the public. She was charged with disorderly conduct and
Toth was hit with a DUI charge. She later addressed the arrest at a press
conference for her movie Wild, saying, “I had no idea what I was thinking that night. I saw him arrest my husband and I just panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things to the officer…I
had no idea what I was talking about and I am so sorry. I was so disrespectful to him. I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better.” Shia LaBeouf Shia LaBeouf is no stranger
to public meltdowns, and one of his most shocking tirades happened when he got arrested in Georgia
in 2017. It all started with the actor approaching
someone for a cigarette. When that person said no, LaBeouf started
swearing in front of children. After he was asked to leave by police, he
reportedly became aggressive. When an officer tried to arrest him, he ran
off to a nearby hotel, where he was arrested in the lobby. He was also caught on camera shouting profanity
in the back of a cop car. LaBeouf later released a statement of apology
on Twitter, saying, “My outright disrespect for authority is problematic
to say the least, and completely destructive to say the worst.” Check out one of our newest videos right here! Plus, even more Nicki Swift videos about your

  1. Ok let's be real here….every single person has had our moments…the only difference is that ours aren't made public and shown in the media💁

  2. I think that his contemptuous hate video about Charlton Heston, not mentioned in this video, made him permanent persona non grata among most of the Hollywood crowd and a whole generation of older Americans and a lot of younger ones. Since he thinks America is so evil, I think that Immigration should jerk his green card on the basis of his extensive illegal drug crimes and be sent back to his Trudeauian paradise in Canada.

  3. Christian Bale had the “meltdown” on the set of Batman, he was tired and he worked extremely hard on his tough roles. At the time he was in focus on his character and the guy walked in right on his acting. Actors are humans and we all can lose it when we get pushed. He even apologized and the other actors on set all defended him saying he isn’t like that, he just had to we all.

  4. Not one clip of the Meltdown.

Are we supposed to search for those clips ourselves.

    I don't believe this.

Seriously u can't show a single meltdown clip

I came here to watch clips of celebs meltdown and u didn't show even one.

Just blah blah blah, no clips.

What kinda channel do u run here.

    I am unsubscribing

    F U Nikki swift

  5. These would be MUCH more interesting if you attached the video/audio of each person's meltdown. Describing the incidents yourself is "boring."

  6. Okay im just going to say it, i do not feel sorry for people who get aids/hiv for being a dirty bastard… I get some people get hiv from blood transfusions and children born hiv positive and its those people i feel sorry for. Not dirty bastards who share needles, and who have unprotected sex..

  7. The greater than thou attitude, isn’t a meltdown, these are two totally different things and a way of life for some. The insincere apologizes are just that, insincere.

    1.) Brittany shaves head=Meltdown.

2.) Reece belittles policeman=Greater than thou w insincere apology.
