Spektra Xion Gorilla Tattoo Machine (FK Irons) | Review, Setup & Unboxing

Hey all,
Liam from Killer Ink here and today I’m going to be showing you
the Spektra Xion Gorilla This is the next evolution of the popular Xion
from the guys behind well-known tattoo brands FK Irons, Spektra Rotary and DarkLab. So let’s take a look at
what it has to offer artists… As you can guess by its name this rotary combines the body
of the standard Spektra Xion with a larger 40 millimetre Gorilla grip. The addition of the ergonomic Gorilla grip
provides optimum comfort and helps eliminate fatigue from clamping around it
when tattooing for extended periods of time. In addition, the grip is also autoclavable,
easy to cover and handle and compatible with all tattoo cartridges. You can also order the Xion Gorilla grip
separately from Killer Ink. As with the standard Xion, the Gorilla version
comes with a powerful 6 Watt MotorBolt that has been specifically designed for tattooing
and ensures optimal performance of your cartridges by providing maximum torque
throughout the session. This machine also has an RCA connection that is
concealed within the MotorBolt for extra reliability. It’s also easy to cover with grip wrap. The Spektra Xion Gorilla has fully-adjustable
stroke length, needle depth and give so it can all be set up according
to your preferences and needs. Use the included stroke wheels to adjust the
stroke length to suit your tattooing style. The Xion Gorilla comes with two stroke wheels: an already-installed 3.2 millimetre wheel
and a 3.7 millimetre one in the box. You can adjust the Xion Gorillas give up to 2
millimetres by simply turning the dial like so… while turning the click grip
will adjust the needle depth. The Spektra Xion Gorilla gives you
complete control over your machine and is therefore suitable for a
wide range of tattooing styles. If you’re wanting to use one of the
best pen-style rotaries around with the addition of a larger, ergonomic grip you can order the Spektra Xion Gorilla from
Killer Ink via the link in the description below. So what are your thoughts on
the latest iteration of the Xion? Will you be trying out the
Gorilla version for yourself? Let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to hit that like button and subscribe to our YouTube channel!
