Rework an Existing Tattoo : Rework a Tattoo by Adding Color

At this point we’re going to start adding
the red color to this existing tattoo. And I did the color blend, and I tightened up
some of the lines. So I’m going to start up top here on the right, and start working in
some new red into this to give it some more depth that it desperately needs. So with the
seven Mag that I’ve used previously, I’m going to start right up top here. And we’re going
to go in real light so we can double check this color balance of this red. And we’re
going in nice and soft because this is a rework. And you can see that this skin has already
been damaged from previous work. So we want to go in nice and light and treat the area
light. If you go in too heavy and too deep at this point, every time Johnny were to get
in the sun for instance, it would get little bumps. It could become irritated. So we just
want to skate in over the existing red, just like I’m doing to do a color blend. And as
you can see on this right, on how much more red it is compared to the left. And we’re
covering up the holidays in the red also.
