Healthy Skin Care : How to Get Rid of a Henna Tattoo

Is that henna tattoo sticking around just
a little bit too long? My name is Keeley Selvage with Keeley Skin Solutions and I’m going to
help you get rid of it. Henna tattoos normally last one to three weeks but sometimes it seems
like they can last even longer especially if you don’t like it. So, what you want to
do first is apply some oil. You can use vegetable oil, baby oil. I’m going to use almond oil.
You want to apply it to the area and rub it. Rub it with a wash cloth. You can also use
soap and water
to get rid of it but you’re going to have to be persistent with it. I would do that
at least twice a day and it might take you a day or two to get rid of it. Once you’re
persistent with it and you rub it good with a washcloth it should be good to go. My name
is Keeley Selvage with Keeley Skin Solutions and that is how you remove a henna tattoo.

  1. Aren't oils actually rubbed into the skin in order to preserve the henna design? The oil actually keeps henna in place not wash it off.

  2. Using all natural remedy to get rid of regretting tattoo is less costly and safer in comparision with laser or hazzard ointment.

  3. What on Earth?? No. You can't simply remove a henna tattoo. Exfoliation, a lot of washing and time are the only ways I've found to remove a henna tattoo. Henna isn't a magic marker. It stains your skin and it comes off gradually when your skin renews itself. There are ways to help this natural process along, but it will take time. Henna stains darkest on the hands and feet especially the palms and soles and will last the longest on these areas than others, but you can't just wipe them off no matter where they are.

  4. you do not put oil on it to remove it. you just wash your skin with water and soap and it will come off…

  7. The heck?
If it was so easy to just wash it off, then why do they say that they can last up to 3 weeks? Do people just not wash their damn hands?
