That’s a big tattoo. You’re going
full color today, huh? – Yes, I am. I figure if I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna go
ahead and do it big.Winning this tattoo takes
my career to the next level, and it ensures
the future for my family. – Do you have a full-color
reference for that, or are you just
winging it from your mind? – It’s all from here.
I believe that the true mark of an artist can
actually create his work.I’ve been working
towards competing at thiscaliber for the last 18 years. – That spot over there hurts. – I really need you
to just stay still, though. – Turn the other way?

– Yeah. – I mean, we gotta get
our lines clean, and they’re gonna
be shaky and nasty if you keep moving around,
okay? – Okay, no, I don’t–okay.

– Yeah. I’m gonna do all the smooth
blacks just to get it done, and then at the end I’m gonna
go in and texturize everything.I’m a very versatile artist, and I’m not scared

gonna have with these areas. – Breath in.
– Yeah. – All right, let it out.The only thing that’s
affecting me in this tattoois the fact
that she can’t sit still. – Crap. – This is, like,
the worst possible thing to happen on a face-off
day for a tattooer, you know, is to have a canvas
that really… Simply just can’t take it. – Ooh. I know this is
a pain in the ass, but I’m gonna have
to stop pretty quick. I think I’m gonna be sick. I’m, like,
shaking so bad, yeah. – I could be defeated
before I even finish my tattoo.♪ ♪
