Rice Paper is a special paper It absorbs water, very quickly So, no matter how you use ink or color with water when the brush touches the rice paper you have no chance to revise or correct You can only add something but you can’t correct it So, we metaphor that when you shoot TV or film we have the chance to say “No Good”” when we’re “No Good and we can repeat again But, when we paint on rice paper We have to think of it as a performance on stage No any chance, we can have a “No Good” and repeat again we just continue so, ink and color and rice paper and water They at once, expands the image and the pattern Once the rice paper absorbs the water and ink and they automatically change the shape So this is very difficult But this image has a rich spiritual feeling And with these sort of things we can release our bad mood releasing emotion So, this is connected to a sort of art therapy This is linked to the experience and the realization of life It’s not just skill or technique From this spiritual energy and combined with the realization of the material and experience It’s a full combination and not just the one way So, a character of the line or character of the stroke This is the symbol of the character of the human.
