Fuck you! What’s your problem, boy? Where you going? Where you going? Dawson’s road. It’s on the way. Get in. No it’s okay. I’ll be fine. Okay. I’ll wait for the next one. Suit yourself. Din’t love my haircut? No. So you don’t need a ride? How old are you, boy? 18. You look a little young to be 18. I’m 18. So where you from? Wellington. That’s a long way bruh. Yeah. Why? To see my mother. Fun oh eh? Not really. What? I never met her. So you just gonna walk up and say “Hello!” Pretty much. Want me to drive you up? No it’s okay. I’ll walk from here. It’s a long way. I’ll walk. HI! Can I help you? Uhm Hi. Is your name Heather? No. Sorry. I’m looking for my mother. O god! I’m sorry I can’t help you. We’ve just moved in here. Heather! Want a cup of tea? No I’m fine. Thanks! Oi! The fuck is your problem?! Could have fucking killed me! Hey! You listening to me?! Hey! Listen! What do you want, boy?! Why you got all that on you? I thought people hated me. So I put things on myself people hated. Got KKK across my chest, Confederate flag on my arm, and snoopy on my ass. Really? No. She din’t want me. You’ll be alright boy. Thank you!

  1. Sometime we can meet stranger's who really kindness but sometimes we can meet stranger's who can just us.. But maybe it's we can called with don't judge a book by the cover.. It's really happen… It's touch me

  2. One of the best kiwi shorts I have seen in a long time, the driver is a regular in NZ film and tv, awesome actor. Actually a nice shot of Huntly Power Station at the end and other parts of the Waikato. Awesome film !!

  3. WHAT A REALLY GREAT STORY CLIP ,HELPING OUR FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED IS HOW WE ALL SHOULD BEHAVE, LEND A HELPING HAND AND A POSITIVE WORD INSTEAD OF THE NEGATIVITY ,AND SELFISHNESS SEEN A LOT NOW DAYS, AND I MOSTLY LOVE THE FACT THAT HE SAID THANK YOU WITH SINCERITY IN HIS EYES!! RESPECT AND LOVE YOUR FELLOW MAN ,AND WOMAN OUR NEIGHBORS AND OUR ENEMIES AS WE WOULD HAVE THEM TREAT OURSELVES!! RESPECTFULLY JAMES RANDOLPH MASON

  4. sad a complete stranger loved him more then his biological mother sad world we live in… but still have to be carful of strangers

  5. Nice scenery and landscapes. Too bad they were really blurry and out of focus. Camera work overdone in my opinion. I was thinking of all the hazy shots rather than the movie.

  6. Omeleto this showed love comes from a stranger and not your loved ones….made me emotional.
Good the boy met and his mother to understand reality. This will make him tough and also sensitive …. he had to learn from the hardest way. The boy and the stranger both did a good job.
It also teaches one that we cannot judge a person by his or her looks.

  7. Do not judge people on there looks like the driver who look scary but he was a very nice guy which we came to know at the end

  8. Probably the best I’ve seen so far. Used script to tell a story. An essential ingredients many other films both short and long lack.

  9. Even in times of sorrow, never forget to live. You don't know which moment is the last moment of . .

    your life.

    Just. . .

    Don't forget to live.

  10. Pained me to death seeing this boy. His mom did what Billy Batson's mom did to him in Shazam. How can a mother be so cruel towards her own child? There is a special place in hell for these kinds of ignorant and evil parents. He deserved the truth at the very least instead she lied. That is just messed up.

  11. Sad but true:In the U.S. if some random red headed teen ( or any colour haired teen for that matter) was walking around in some places,he'd either be shot or some one would sic some rather not so friendly dogs on him. Whilst the vast majority people are very helpful and courteous ,there are some very sketchy places that I wouldn't walk around in even in broad daylight wearing body armour .

  12. I thought that teenager was going to be named " Flatly Mac Roadkill " when he want running like a wild animal through that intersection. Or his new name would be named " Matt Flatt O'Splattly " . Beep-BEEP! THUD !

  13. Unfortunately, I've watched enough reunion videos where this is more common than people might think. The people are expecting this beautiful, emotional reunion but the birth family wants nothing to do with them or they have a very unemotional hug, like "I'm supposed to hug you but I could really care less."

  14. So no one is commenting on the swastika / Hakenkreuz he has tatooed on his face?!

Wtf is up with that and why does nobody seem to bother?

  15. I am adopted, have searched since I was 16..I am now 44,have found my dad but not my mom
.I relate to this on so many levels

  16. I don’t know why, but the driver seemed so believable and genuine I want to know his story. Not the character. The actor.

  17. Mothers who give up their children do so for reasons. They don't have to be good reasons or even the right reasons. If you go looking, you may not always like what you find.

  18. I like how you can see the women's face as she sees the resemblance in the boy and realizes he is her son, then when he asks for heather her face contorts further. Sad situation, nonetheless she could have said she was sorry.
